What happens when you are a slacker
Walking has been erratic of late due to work schedules and general craziness. Hoping to do better next year! Unfortunately Paul and I are feeling like we've gone a little backwards this year and haven't maintained a tight walking schedule. I can tell you I'm feeling it and need to work extra hard to get get back to where I was at the start of the year. I can feel some new year's resolutions coming on.

A Cracking Pace
With today's news about Steve Jobs' passing (sad) I thought it was a good idea to write about something positive that has something to do with Apple and Walking. Just so happens I was reviewing the Runkeeper stats today after our walk and we've been doing OK. Although this (2 blokes) blog has been going since January 2010 we've been keeping stats since mid 2009 and we've racked up around 670kms. Not bad.
We're now consistently above the 5km/h magic number (which we're happy about). Can't help but think how the stats would look if we did actually walk each day consistently!
The tie in with Apple is obviously the trusty iPhone and Runkeeper App, which have been our constant companions on the walks. Nice work.

First walk in a few weeks - back to normality
Paul and I have been travelling a lot in the last few weeks (over two months actually) so our walking routine has been somewhat non existent. Today however, we finally walked again and it felt good to do something "normal". Back on the path, so to speak - let's see if we can keep it up!

How slack we have been!
Oh my, we have been terrible lately. Although this week we've done our best to redeem ourselves, topping 5.3kph per walk (check our stats).

Walking in 2011
Well it's a new year, so what have we been doing? Well I've been away, Paul's been working and now we're back and it looks like the first half of this year is going to be a little frenetic. We'll see how well we go with keeping up the walks.
Did do a couple of bike rides while on holiday, but the GPS screwed up on one so only recorded one short ride.
Gotta get those stats up!
